Sheroes of Selma

Sheroes of Selma aired on the Viacom Networks and was a half-hour documentary on the women of Selma Bridge Crossing, who shared stories on their life growing up in Selma, Alabama, and what it was like to grow up with women such as Amelia Boynton Robinson who was actually on the front lines fighting for equal voting rights. This documentary features Amelia Boynton Robinson, Annie Pearl Avery, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Kelly Price as it commemorates the 600 plus brave men and women who risked their lives to fight against injustice and for equality during the 50th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday and the Selma to Montgomery March.
