About the event

Join us on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Alabama State University for an extraordinary day dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders and bringing together students, alumni, and advocates from all 107 HBCUs.

Special Guest YelloPain, the powerful artist and activist behind “My Vote Don’t Count,” will once again engage attendees with his impactful message on civic engagement and share his inspiring documentary.

The day will feature movement-building workshops focused on technology, civic engagement, health equity, financial literacy, workforce development, and more.

These workshops will be led by some of the most influential organizations driving change in our communities, including  Gilead Sciences, TMCF, PNC Bank,League of Women Voters, Black Voters Matter, UNCF and others.

This is a day to learn, connect, and take action as we collectively build a stronger future for HBCUs and the communities they serve.
